We cannot ignore this crisis that has already claimed 1,000 lives in just a week

The figures are as astonishing as they are heartbreaking.
Hurricane Matthew has now killed 1,000 people in the Caribbean island of Haiti, and 1.4 million people are in need of emergency huminatarian aid.
It’s not just killed hundreds, destroyed homes and ruined livelihoods.
The disaster has also contaminated water sources, bringing about an outbreak of the deadly disease cholera.
This crisis can simply not be ignored.
