'We are Scotland!' SNP hit back at Tories after conference 'toxic rhetoric'
 

This week’s Conservative Party Conference saw Theresa May’s party set out new immigration control measures including rules which will see businesses listing foreign workers, the NHS prioritising British doctors and universities cracking down on foreign students. 
Unimpressed by the Prime Minister’s plans, SNP leader Nicola Sturgeon signed a joint statement attacking the party for its “divisive” and “absolutely disgusting” proposals, which it suggested would inflame tensions in society.
