Wayne Rooney will become Premier League's highest scorer of away goals if he nets for Manchester United at Liverpool

Wayne Rooney will write himself a new entry in the Premier League record books if he scores in Manchester United's visit to Liverpool on Monday night.
A goal would be the England striker's 88th away from home in the Premier League, taking him clear of Alan Shearer as the competition's all-time highest scorer of goals on opposition grounds.
It has been a turbulent few weeks for Rooney, who has fallen out of form and favour with both United manager Jose Mourinho and England boss Gareth Southgate, and it is likely he'll once again start on the bench.
