Wayne Rooney opens up over Sam Allardyce sacking

The Manchester United ace, who'll continue to serve as Three Lions captain under interim boss Gareth Southgate, spoke to the press ahead of Sunday's World Cup qualifier against Malta.
He reckons the England team need to shut out the distractions around their manager and just focus on picking up the points in Group F.
"We need to build on the three points we won in the last game [against Slovakia], and the other side of it isn't our issue, it's nothing for us to be concerned about," said Rooney.
