Waterloo station closure: What’s happening and how long will it last?
 

Parts of London’s Waterloo station will be closed down over the summer, bringing delays and general disruptions for commuters in the middle of summer.
The UK’s busiest train station is undergoing a £800million spruce-up, which will see the station get longer platforms, more seats and extra space for passengers.
When is Waterloo closing for works? Network Rail will be starting the improvement works on August 5.
They are expected to last for four weeks and end on August 28.
