Water bosses apologise for Nuneaton road closure that caused gridlock

Water bosses have apologised for the chaos caused on a main route into and out of Nuneaton due to a burst water main.
For almost two days Hinckley Road, near to the new Lidl store, was closed off because of the burst main.
But chiefs at Severn Trent have said that the leak has now been fixed and the road has been re-opened.
They have also apologised for the inconvenience, especially on Saturday, as motorists battled to get in to and out of town.
Householders were also left without water following the burst main, which began gushing water on Friday afternoon.
