Watch: Three OAPs end one-man crime spree by catching burglar who was on run for 18 months



An OAP trio hailed as the 'three musketeers' have been handed an award after they caught a crime-spree burglar who police had been hunting for 18 months.
Peter Mueller, 70, was visiting the house of his recently passed away mother-in-law from Germany when he was shocked to spot burglar Stephen Ward standing in the corridor with a bag of jewellery.
Mr Mueller – plus elderly relatives Adly Gorrafa, 81, and Sheila Gorrafa, 78 – tackled Ward to the ground and held him on the floor while panicked neighbours called the police.
