Watch RAF's 'spine-tingling' tribute at veteran's Llandudno funeral



A “spine-tingling” airborne tribute was paid to an RAF hero at his funeral today.
Hawk jets from RAF Valley in Anglesey carried out a flypast for Patrick James O’Connell as he was laid to rest on the Great Orme in Llandudno.
Mr O’Connell (BEM) Military, who died on September 20 at the age of 93, served for 38 years in the Royal Air Force and was awarded the Burma Star, Africa Star, 1939-1945 Star, Defence Medal and War Medal.
He joined the RAF at 17 years old in 1939 and was posted all over the world as a missile engineer.
