Watch drive through Hull in 1969 on first 'dashcam'

This rare footage of Hull captured using the "first ever dashcam" shows a fascinating glimpse into city life 50 years ago.
The video, taken by Maud Mellors, was shot in 1969 as the west Hull landlady toured the city centre testing out a new video camera.
The film laid undiscovered in her daughter's attic for nearly 50 years until her grandson, Nick Mellors, found it while having a look through belongings.
"It is amazing footage. It really is very good and shows everything from the time," said Mr Mellors, who still lives in the city.
