China might have its famous great brick wall. But the tiny village of Paull on the banks of the Humber is now home to the UK's longest glass flood wall.
The 520-metre long barrier has been installed on top of existing tidal defences over the past few months. Costing £850,000, it was commissioned after the tidal surge along the Humber in December 2013.
The wall has added an extra 1.1 metres to the height of the defences in the village which now stand at 6.8 metres above sea level.
