Walter Mitty ex-soldier who posed as a war hero avoids jail or fine after attacking his fiancee and burning her underwear
 

A WALTER Mitty former Army clerk who posed as a war hero has been spared punishment for attacking his fiancee.
Liar Danny Hutchison shoved Navada Mungall into a wall and burned a box of her underwear in April. But a sheriff yesterday said he believed the attack was a one-off.
He admonished Hutchison, meaning his crime is recorded but he won’t be fined or jailed.
Hutchison, 43, and Navada, 45, left court hand in hand.
The Daily Record exposed Hutchison last year over his Army lies. He had claimed to have survived a bomb blast in Afghanistan and implied he served in the commandos.
