Walsall 1 Scunthorpe United 4: Josh Morris hat-trick keeps Iron top of League One



SCUNTHORPE United produced a supreme performance to sweep aside Walsall 4-1 at the Banks’s Stadium.
It was the third time in four seasons that the Iron had won by the scoreline at the home of their opponents.
A Josh Morris hat-trick – a qucikfire double in the first half followed by a lovely chip in the second half, and a screamer from Neal Bishop on his 500th career start sealed the points.
Even a Erhun Oztumer goal when Walsall enjoyed their best period at the end of the first half was not enough for the home side.
