Waitrose free drink policy could be curbed in Uttoxeter
 

Uttoxeter shoppers may soon see their free takeaway hot drinks offer curbed after supermarket customers complained the offer was 'attracting chavs'.
As part of a trial, some Waitrose customers elsewhere are having to buy something if they want to collect a free tea of coffee.
The supermarket, owned by retail giant John Lewis, has already introduced the measures into eight of its stores.
Customers at stores in Billericay, Bury St Edmunds, Clifton, Leigh-on-Sea, Mountsorrel, Norwich, Southend and Swaffham will have to purchase something if they want their freebie.
