Virtual reality tour of Auschwitz created to catch last Nazi war criminals
 

More than one million men, women and children – mainly Jewish people - were slaughtered at the camp in Poland which was eventually liberated by the Russians in 1945.
While many have been prosecuted for their barbarous role at Auschwitz, which included subjecting inmates to brutal beatings, torture and murder, others escaped without punishment.
Now German officials are racing against time to prosecute the last remaining culprits who are growing increasingly frail with age.
