Virgin Trains cleaners could strike over feared job cuts
 

Cleaners on Virgin trains could go on strike over fears for their jobs.
But any potential walkout would not result in delayed or cancelled services, according to Virgin Trains.
A rail union spokesman claimed cleaning staff on Virgin West Coast trains, which include the Liverpool to London route, are “treated like dirt”.
He said Voith Industrial Services, which provides cleaning staff on the network, was proposing to cut dozens of jobs which add up to the equivalent of 37 full-time roles.
