Violent thug jailed after shop attack on defenceless pensioner
 

A thug who beat up a defenceless man in a shop - grabbing him in a headlock and hurling him to the ground - has been jailed for eight years.
Nottinghamshire Police have condemned the actions of Leon Bryan as a "completely unprovoked and extremely violent and
sustained attack on an elderly member of the public".
Bryan, 27, grabbed the 63-year-old customer in a headlock before throwing him to the floor several times until he could no longer get up, Nottingham Crown Court was told.
