Victims of Western Union fraud scam told to claim money back but warned not to get duped twice



More than 20,000 people have reported paying fraudsters via Western Union transfers.
Now Action Fraud UK – the national fraud and cyber crime reporting centre – is contacting them to let them know they might be able to get some of their money back.
The news follows a multimillion-dollar settlement in the US where Western Union has paid $586 million (£437 million) to the US government to reimburse victims of scams which involved a wire transfer using its services.
