US spies ‘targeted’ in bizarre sensory attacks in Havana



US transnational news agency Association Press gave impetus yesterday to Washington’s assertion that US diplomats in Havana have suffered mysterious sensory attacks by alleging that intelligence agents have been especially targeted.
AP journalists Michael Weissenstein, Josh Lederman and Matthew Lee said that it wasn’t until US spies, posted to the embassy under diplomatic cover, reported hearing bizarre sounds and experiencing even stranger physical effects that the authorities realised something was wrong.
