Uproar in Paris: 24,000 people from opposition groups campaign over same-sex marriage
 

The groups converged in the capital over a bid to repeal of the law which was passed in 2013 to allow gay unions.
But according to organisers the march brought up to 200,000 members of the LBGT community out.
While at the same time people calling for "traditional family values" also took to the streets. 
One protestor said: “Even if the gay marriage law has been adopted, we will continue the protest to show that it is not good and we want it to be repealed.
“We want to influence the political debate that will take place in the coming months.”
