Unemployed teenager 'forgot' knife was tucked into his waistband
 

A teenager was warned of the dangers of knife crime after a court heard that he forgot a weapon was tucked into his waistband.
Jobseeker Laquan Francis, 18, told a probation officer that he used it to cut pizza at a house party and was arrested after going into the street when he heard "trouble."
Nottingham JPs ordered 100 hours community work from Francis of Shepton Crescent, Aspley. He admitted having a small kitchen knife on Bestwood Park Drive West on September 25.
