Uncertainty for residents as care home announces closure
 

A nursing home near Ashbourne is due to close next month, leaving its 26 residents, and its 55 staff, facing uncertainty.
St Mary's Nursing Home, in Ednaston near Brailsford, will close on Friday, November 4 and its owners the Institute of our Lady of Mercy say it has been a "difficult decision".
The closure follows a publication, just a few days ago, of a damning Care Quality Commission report which said its services were "inadequate" following a surprise visit.
