Ulverston woman assaulted partner with deck chair 'because he hadn't spent the day with her'



Tracey Murthwaite, of Kirk Flatt, Great Urswick, was alleged to have assaulted her partner with a deck chair and beaten him, causing injuries to his arm and leg.
She was also accused of damaging a mobile phone belonging to the complainant, to the value of £300.
Murthwaite pleaded guilty to a count of criminal damage, and a count of assault.
The court heard that on June 23, Murthwaite entered the home of her partner, Simon Raisbeck.
Mr Lee Dacre, prosecuting, told the court Murthwaite was angry with Mr Raisbeck, after he had not spent the day with her.
