UK weather divide to be sparked by turbulent low pressure system



The tail-end of a collection of tropical weather systems is expected to create a UK weather divide with the south basking in warm conditions, while parts of the north are pounded by heavy downpours and strong winds.
A wave of disturbances caused by a turbulent low pressure system are set to unleash a bout of bad weather for northern and western areas during the early part of the week.
Meanwhile, temperatures in the south are set to reach the low to mid 20s C, with thermometers in the capital lifting to a balmy 23C, as humid air travels upwards from mainland Europe.
