UK Time Attack Championship – one last blast for 2016



GEARBOX gremlins cost Andrew Barbour the chance of victory in the final round of 2016 UK Time Attack Championship.
Racing his Mitsubishi Evo IX in the PRO class, the problem meant the Banff speed merchant lost valuable time accelerating in the long straights of the Snetterton circuit in Norfolk.
But his best lap time of 1:14.392 was enough to earn him third place on the PRO class podium.
Meanwhile, fellow PRO class racer Russ Paton, of Dalgety Bay, Fife, was left disappointed after technical problems meant he was unable to take to the track for the all important final session.
