Tyneside 'one woman crimewave' jailed after committing 357th offence
 

A Tyneside thief jailed for a staggering 357th offence was branded a “one-woman crime wave” by a judge.
Tania Liddle, 35, was one of two females locked up for their respective roles in shocking violence which flared outside a Spar store in Carlisle.
Liddle and accomplice Danielle Nicholson, 27, were sentenced at the city’s crown court on Friday. Each had admitted charges of theft and affray following the night-time incident on May 19 last year.
Judge Peter Davies was told how Liddle and Nicholson tried to steal wine worth £14 from the store.
