Two-year-old Burton boy may be forced to travel to London if Glenfield Hospital closes
 

A two-year-old boy with a heart condition could be forced to travel with his family all the way to London in an emergency if surgery is stopped at Leicestershire's Glenfield Hospital.
Malakai Cox and his family, who live in Oxford Street, Burton, have visited Glenfield Hospital's children's heart centre more than 40 times since he was diagnosed with Tetralogy of Fallots (TOF) at birth. The condition left him with holes in his heart, a damaged aorta and a narrowed heart vessel, and in 2014 he underwent open heart surgery at Leicester's Glenfield and is recovering well.
