Two people hurt by 'tidal wave' of falling water after roof panel ruptures at Victoria station
 

Two rail commuters were injured by a ‘tidal wave’ of falling rainwater after a plastic roof panel ruptured above a platform at Manchester Victoria railway station.
The pair - believed to be a young woman and a middle-aged man - were ‘blasted’ off their feet by the force of the deluge as they walked with other commuters along a platform, according to witnesses.
