Two men charged after death of Barrow man Andrew Hackett



Paramedics and police attended Gloucester Street at around 7am on Sunday December 10, 2017.
Mr Hackett was taken from the scene by ambulance to hospital but later died.
A 38-year-old man was arrested at the scene, initially on suspicion of grievous bodily harm, and later arrested on suspicion of murder.
A second man aged 39 was also detained in relation to this incident after being located in the Salthouse Mills area of Barrow. He was taken away by ambulance having suffered a suspected drugs overdose.
Mark Bartholomew, 39, of Gloucester Street, has since been charged with murder.
