Two men arrested after man is taken taken to hospital following alleged assault in Stockton
 

Two men have been arrested after a man was taken to hospital following an alleged assault.
Police were called to a report of an assault at about 7.45pm on Vicarage Street, Stockton , yesterday.
A 36-year-old man suffered facial injuries and was taken to James Cook University Hospital, where he remains receiving treatment.
Two men aged 38 and 43 have been arrested in connection with the incident and both remain in police custody this morning.
