Two deny manslaughter of man who died following alleged burglary in Middlesbrough
 

Two men accused of killing Laurence French today denied manslaughter.
Christopher Dalziell, 39, and Damien Bishop, 41, deny robbing and killing 50-year-old Mr French.
They both pleaded not guilty to robbing Mr French of a jacket, wallet, money, jewellery and personal documents. Bishop admitted theft.
They also pleaded not guilty to manslaughter, the unlawful killing of Mr French.
The alleged offences are said to have been committed on May 25 this year.
The two accused men, from Middlesbrough, are scheduled to stand trial on January 16 next year .
