Two-day festival is a hit with Carlisle's foodies



Whether your palette favoured sweet treats or savoury snacks, there was something for everyone at Carlisle's inaugural Foodies Fest.
Traders from across the county descended on the city's centre offering a range of homemade products to hungry shoppers.
While adults were able to quench their thirst by stopping off at the Carlisle Brewing Company's yurt, selling 'prosecco and pints', youngsters were kept entertained in the Kids' Zone with facepainting from Silly Gilly and Jason the Juggler, among others.
