Two arrested after police car crash on M61 near Bolton
 

Two men have been arrested after a police officer was injured in a crash on the M61 near Bolton.
The officer, of Lancashire Constabulary, was involved in the pursuit of a silver Vauxhall Vectra on the motorway southbound, near Rivington Services.
Police began to chase the Vectra after it was understood to be involved in a collision with a Bentley, leaving it damaged, on Monday afternoon. The police car overturned and struck the central reservation.
Two men were later arrested by Greater Manchester Police.
