Two arrested after 20-year-old man dies in A69 crash near Hexham



A driver who died in a fatal collision after his car flipped over on the A69 was a 20-year-old man.
Two people have now been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving after the man’s car flipped over in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
The man, who has not been named, died when his car overturned on the A69 one mile east of the Bridge End Roundabout at Hexham at 1.13am.
A man aged 27 and a woman aged 21 have both been arrested and remain in custody assisting police with their inquiries.
