These teams had already met twice in other competitions with one win apiece. This time, Tweedmouth were sunk by two headers, one in each half. It leaves them still seeking their first goal and first point in the East of Scotland League.
There were early chances at both ends. Lee Dodd was wide with a header from Shane McGregor’s cross from near the dugout side touchline.
Tweedmouth keeper Graham Cain hunched to punch out Elliot Sutherland’s angled shot after the men protecting him generously gave the students the space to mount a three man attack.
