Turkey terror attacks and failed coup scare off holidaymakers hitting Thomas Cook sales
 

The country was plunged into chaos in July amid a failed military coup, which comes after a series of terror attacks.
The dramatic events led to a plunge in demand for holidays to Turkey, with travellers choosing countries such as the Balearic and Canary Islands for holidays, said the travel operator.
The United States, Cuba and Bulgaria has also grown in popularity after terror attacks in France, Brussels and Germany this year, found Thomas Cook.
