Tropical winds from the Azores set to chase snow and ice away

Snow and ice are forecast for North Wales this weekend prompting a weather warning.
Temperatures are set to plunge to -2C tonight with up to 6cm of snow expected to fall on Sunday.
But forecasters predict that the wintry conditions will be wiped out next week as a tropical air mass sweeps across the UK.
The Met Office has issued a yellow warning for snow covering all of North Wales, bar Anglesey, from 6am until 6pm on Sunday.
