Tributes to decorated historian with a lifetime of service to county and church
 

President of Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust, David Robinson has died after a lifetime of service to the county in preserving its heritage and traditions.
David, 89, who died on Tuesday after a short illness, was a Methodist preacher and taught Christianity for more than 60 years.
David lived most of his life in Lincolnshire and was one of the county’s greatest experts on natural history.
He met Sir David Attenborough when he visited the county in 1998.
He also hosted the Duke of Gloucester when he came to tour the new look Louth Museum which is one of his many legacies to the historic county.... read more
