Tributes to British optician killed in Nigeria after he was taken hostage
 

The British optician killer by kidnappers in Nigeria was a ‘lovely, quiet man who only wanted to help the poor’, his loved ones said in tributes.
Dr Ian Squire, 57, was kidnapped from his accommodation along with three other Brits doing missionary work in Delta State in the south of the country three weeks ago.
Charity workers David Donovan, his wife Shirley and Alanna Carson have all been safely released following their abduction in the early hours of October 13.
They were in the African country to offer cataract operations and eye check-ups to local people.
