Tributes paid to Castle Vale schoolboy Callum Henry who died while collecting football kit

THE heartbroken family of a promising young footballer who died after being knocked off his bike have paid tribute to their “wonderful” son.
Ten-year-old Callum Henry was on his way to pick up his football kit when he was critically injured in a collision with a car close to his Castle Vale home.
The schoolboy suffered a heart attack at the scene on Farnborough Road on Wednesday evening.
His parents made the heartbreaking decision for his life support machine to be switched off at Birmingham Children’s Hospital the following day.
