Tributes paid at funeral for former Bishop of Durham David Jenkins

Tributes have been paid to the former Bishop of Durham at his funeral service.
The Right Reverend Dr David Jenkins was called “the common man’s Bishop” by the Archbishop of York John Sentamu following Wednesday’s service at Durham Cathedral .
Paying tribute to the former Bishop of Durham the Archbishop of York said he was an “amazing” man.
“He was, what I would call the common man and common woman’s Bishop. He wanted people to think about god and their faith.”
