Travis Perkins to axe 600 jobs and close at least 30 branches



Travis Perkins will cut 600 jobs from its trade arms following warning of "uncertain" trading in the future.
The builders' merchant, which runs from more than 20 businesses including Wickes and Toolstation, said those affected had already been informed and job losses were concentrated in its Travis Perkins, Benchmarx, heating and plumbing businesses.
Wickes and Toolstation are not included in this process.
