Travellers given permission to stay on land for five years - because one woman in group is pregnant



Travellers have been given permission to continue living on land near a farm for five years as one of the women in their group is pregnant.
The families pitched up illegally on the site just north west of Cold Comfort Farm, at Rogue's Lane, near Hinckley, last July.
Hinckley and Bosworth Borough Council tried to evict them, however the group have now won an appeal against that.
A Government planning inspector said they should be allowed to stay - despite stating the site was unsustainable, contrary to the council's development strategy and harmful to the countryside.
