Traveller ordered to remove hardcore which flooded gardens in Overseal as new plans submitted
 

A traveller who flooded six gardens by bringing more than a metre of hardcore onto his land is making a second attempt to use the site for five gipsy pitches.
If approved by South Derbyshire District Council, a new application, relating to the rear of 137 to 149 Woodville Road, Overseal, will force the applicant, John Doherty, to remove hardcore from the land before being allowed to create hardstanding to site his caravans.
