Transport Secretary Chris Grayling condemns East Coast Main Line strikers
 

Transport Secretary Chris Grayling has condemned striking rail workers - as East Coast Main Line staff staged a 24-hour walkout.
And he hit out at Labour’s plans to bring rail services back under public control.
Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn has made proposals to “re-nationalise” rail lines one of his flagship policies.
And Labour says the East Coast Main Line was run more efficiently when it was briefly under public control.
Members of the RMT union took industrial action over plans to cut 200 jobs on the East Coast line, which is run by Virgin Trains.
