​Train lines may not reopen today after police declare track a crime scene

The Spalding to Peterborough train line may not reopen today, after police declared the area a crime scene.
Police officers and Network Rail staff were believed to have been on the railway line just past Winsover Road underneath a bridge at around 9am this morning.
East Midlands trains originally anticipated the line would reopen by 13.30pm.
But now a spokesman has said: "At present we do not have a clear estimate as to when the line will re-open however it is a possibility that the line may not reopen on Saturday 8th October."
