Train disruption after passenger taken ill on Merseyrail train



Merseyrail services faced disruptions this evening after a passenger fell ill on board a train.
Northern Line services were “severely disrupted” as emergency services attended to the ill passenger.
An eye witness said people were being asked to leave the station. They added there were two paramedics at the station and two or more police officers.
Dozens and dozens of passengers were asked to clear the station.
