Traffic problems across Teesside as protests and accidents cause delays
 

A morning of traffic woes has plagued Teesside today.
Protests began on Seal Sands Road this morning, causing hour-long delays for people coming towards Middlesbrough from Seaton.
Police were on the scene to assist with the traffic, and have thanked commuters for their patience.
The protests began at 6.20am and involved four cars and ten people.
Protests finished just before 9am.
There has been heavy traffic on the southbound carriageway of the A19 .
