Toyota unveil robot companion to stop drivers getting lonely



Car maker Toyota is to start selling a robot companion through its motor dealers.
The Japanese motor company - which has an engine plant on Deeside - is to launch the "compact and cuddlesome" Kirobo Mini next year.
Toyota plans to sell Kirobo Mini, which blinks its eyes and speaks with a baby-like high-pitched voice, for 39,800 yen (around £300), initially only in Japan.

It also comes with a "cradle" that doubles as its baby seat designed to fit in car cup holders.
