Tory MP blasts Euro judges for 'mission creep' that forces cops to spend their time protecting gangsters
 

POLICE are being forced to give warnings to criminals and gangsters about threats against their life because of "mission creep" from Strasbourg judges, a former justice minister has claimed.
Dominic Raab MP said the practice meant huge amounts of police time and resources are being diverted away from protecting "innocent, law-abiding citizens".
The European Convention on Human Rights has the right to life as one of its cornerstones.
