Torrential rain and 60mph winds set to pound Scotland this weekend as Hurricane Lee arrives



Scotland is set to be battered by torrential downpours and 60mph winds as remnants of Hurricane Lee and Maria make their way to the UK this weekend.
The storms are making tracks across the Atlantic towards Scotland and will pound parts of the country on Saturday through to Monday morning.
The Met Office have issued a yellow "be aware" warning which begins at midnight on Sunday through to 6pm on Monday and forecasters have predicted up to 100mm of rain could fall, causing widespread flooding up and down the country.
